The members of the Omaha Scotch Whiskey Society bring together people with a shared passion for whisky to enjoy, explore, and understand Scotch in all its depth and character. Through shared drams, guided tastings, and thoughtful discussion, members learn not just what they’re drinking, but how Scotch whisky is made, where it comes from, and why it tastes the way it does. Truly understanding from grain to glass, makes the appreciation of Scotch whisky and each dram more meaningful and enjoyable.

Our society is built around a welcoming, inclusive community of whisky enthusiasts—from the curious beginner to the seasoned Scotchologist. Members gain access to guest speakers, including distillers, brand ambassadors, and historians, along with opportunities to explore rare and limited whiskies that are difficult to find or experience alone.

We start off new members with a complimentary Glencairn crystal glass, which is perfect for appreciating the visual appeal, aroma, and taste of great whisky. Beyond the glass, you will receive a distinctive membership card and Certificate of Membership, making you eligible for exclusive discounts and perks through society partners and affiliates. For those interested in organized group travel experiences to iconic distilleries and distinctive whisky bars—both at home and abroad— travelling to Scotland deepens the connection between whisky, place, and people.
