About the Society

Who can join?

Anyone with a passion for whisky and good company is welcome. Experienced to novice you'll have a good time, meet friends or make new ones.

Why join?

We are a welcoming community of whisky enthusiasts sharing drams, deepening their understanding of Scotch whisky, and unlocking rare experiences—from exceptional bottles to distillery travel—together. Because whisky is more than a drink — it's an adventure.

What events happen?

We host whisky tastings, educational talks, and casual meetups focused on whisky. We recognize that not everyone likes Scotch whisky. Some events include wine tastings, bourbon whiskey sampling, food pairings and bottle share nights. We also celebrate various Scottish historical figures, such as the poet Robert Burns and other events as decided on by the members.

Do I need experience?

No experience needed—our events are designed for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts to enjoy and learn. Life is a learning adventure best enjoyed with others.

How often do you meet?

Currently, we meet six times a year to share drams and stories in a friendly setting.

We meet in January, March, May, August, September, and November. As our membership grows, we may decide to meet more often.

Is membership required?

Membership fees help support events, and operating costs. Your membership also includes discounts or premiums from our local and regional partners and affiliates. We welcome drop-ins at any of our events.

Please drink responsibly. Never drink and drive.
