The Omaha Scotch Whisky Society was founded on:

What Our Membership Looks Like

• A cross-section of people from all walks of life

• Men and women, professionals, and non-professionals young and old.

• Casual and not stuffy anyone whisky curious.

What are the Meetings Like?

• We meet six times a year

• Jan, Mar, May, August, September, and November

• Most meetings are focused on some sort of theme

• Themes involve some aspect of celebrating whisky

• Guest speakers and short presentations.

• Meetings generally last two hours,

Is It Only Scotch Whisky?

• Scotch whisky is the prime focus.

• We also have wine tastings

• Wine and food pairings

• Bourbon and other spirit nights

• Bottle shares where drams are poured

• Tastings are half-ounce pours

Membership & Locations

• Membership costs $49 dollars a year

• Fees go for bottle purchases cost of supplies, administration costs, web, email, club expenses

• Initial membership includes a Glencairn Crystal glass to sample and whisky properly

• A membership card and Member Certificate

• Private homes, whisky bars, restaurants are key locales

• RSVPs help determine how many guests to plan for.
