Whisky & Scottish Food Pairing
A Taste of Scotland — Plus Our Annual MeetingDiscover how familiar Scottish foods can bring out new dimensions in a well-chosen dram. We’ll pair a selection of Scotch whiskies with Scottish favorites in a relaxed afternoon of tasting and conversation. This gathering also serves as the Society’s Annual Corporate Meeting and Officer Elections, giving members a direct voice in the year ahead. RSVP early — seating is limited.
Rare Scotch Whisky Tasting Experience — Omaha
Six Rare Single Malts from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s October OutturnThe Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America is bringing a guided rare-whisky tasting to Omaha at Dundee Dell. Guests will taste six unique single malts from the Society’s upcoming October Outturn in a seated, guided format designed to explore the remarkable range of styles and flavors found in Society whisky. The event is open to anyone interested in tasting and learning; SMWS members receive reduced admission.

Building on the October 5 SMWSA Rare Whisky ExperienceFollowing the Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America tasting earlier in the month, OSWS members will have an opportunity to go deeper. This special Society tasting will feature eight rare, single-cask-strength bottles selected for their individuality, intensity, and range of flavor. The evening is designed as a companion to the October 5 experience — more time with the whiskies, more comparison among styles, and more conversation around what makes a single-cask bottling distinctive.

Robert Burns Night
Poetry, Toasts & WhiskyCelebrate Scotland's national bard with heartfelt toasts, Burns poetry read aloud, good cheer, and the finest Scotch to warm the soul on a January evening. Bring your tartan spirit — this is one of the great whisky traditions, and we observe it properly. Slàinte mhath!
Event Fees
Event costs vary by gathering. The September, October 24, and November OSWS gatherings use a suggested $20 free-will donation. The October 5 rare-whisky tasting is hosted and ticketed by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America through Eventbrite. Burns Night pricing will be announced when final details are confirmed.
Guests & Members
Members and guests are welcome at the September Scottish food pairing and November bottle share. The October 5 Rare Scotch Whisky Tasting Experience is hosted by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society of America and is open to the public; SMWS members receive reduced admission. The October 24 OSWS follow-up tasting is reserved for OSWS members and will feature eight rare single-cask-strength bottles. Tickets for October 5 are purchased through Eventbrite; OSWS members should RSVP below for October 24.
